그는 "자기 말로는 자기 사진이 잘 나와서 올렸다는데 동생 이용하려는 그런 것 내가 좌시하지 않겠다"고 경고해 웃음을 자아냈다.

한편 김구라는 2015년 전 아내와 이혼했으며, 2020년 12살 연하의 비연예인과 혼인신고만으로 조용히 가정을 꾸렸고, 지난해 9월 늦둥이 둘째 딸을 얻어 많은 축하를 받았다. 아들 그리는 전 아내와의 사이에서 낳은 아들이다.
